MADHMAHESHWAR TREKK

Madhyamaheshwar is located in the district of Rudraprayag .It is one of the Panch Kedar (holy temples dedicated to the lord shiva). It is believed that after the epic Mahabharat war, the Pandavas wanted to pay reverence to lord shiva in order to make them free from their sins. Lord shiva turned into a bull in order to illude them, he divided his body into five parts to escape them. The sites where the five parts of the lord appeared are known as the Panch Kedar. these temples are kedarnath, madhyamaheshwar, tungnath, rudranath, kalpnath.

Madhyamaheshwar is the second kedar madhya means middle part. this is a 24 km long beautiful trek. The temple is surrounded by mountain peaks such as chaukhamba peak, neelkanth and kedarnath peak. it is a worth going place. If you are a nature lover and loves to explore places and even wants to explore yourself then you must visit this place.
